There are no adjustments to "tweak" that you want anyone to touch on your FI... if its not working properly isolate the bad part and replace it. Here in NY.. the law is on your side, if the mechanic damages your car or messes it up when smogging it he is responsible for returning it to you in the same condition as when it arrived or you have legal recourse. So, dont fuss, have HIM replace what he damaged, and refer to the bentley when you need to point out that nothing is supposed to be adjusted and let him replace the parts and worry about the $$ to do it. Everything is available new. In most, if not all, states that smog the older cars that originally had FI wont pass with carbs so that isnt an option, want the FI FAQ??
