Man, Leon, I am so confused!!! I had my FI Running sweet! ok. then i take it to get emissioned.. guy tweaks with everything!?!!!!!! pisses me off fries a wire on my regulator and makes the engine start hunting really bad.. so i get it home and fix everything.. he fried my generator. fised it.. runs ok. put the temp sensor II on the top left of intake on. runs like crap.. so maybe this is bad? okay take it off.. runs ok. replaced plug wires, cap, rotor. even tried another throttle switch.. guy was tweaking with it while car was running.. so now.. my car wil not idle. and it will not revv very well.. and once i get it to revv.. i let it down to idle and it dies or sometimes tries to idle for 2 seconds and then dies.. so. what do i do?? I am at the end of my rope... do i just can the whole thing?? (FI) and get carbs or what?/ this is a fresh rebuild with 299 miles on the thing.did he mess up my harness? did he mess up my ECU?? I have a D ecu in there now and i have a C ecu that i trie with the same results.. please help, i will also forward this to the list. well have a good one! my phone # is 801-771-7113 my address is Jason Cornfeld 2433 E. Sunset Dr. Layton, UT 84040 Im not sure i need those connectors but i need a temp sensor II. the one on the left hand side of the intake. on a 73 is on the bottom right i think. i have been told mercedes uses this same thing?? and could this sensor be the whole source of my problem?? anyone have a set of solex carbs for sale?? maybe some webers?
