Re: [T3] I want aT34

<x-charset iso-8859-1>BryanM=> Any one have a good one for sale?

The type34.org classifieds are absolutely the best resource you will find in
the world. Yes, a lot of those cars have been for sale for a long time --
not because they're bad cars, but because there is little demand for them.
Many people who think of themselves as VW aficionados have never heard of
the Typ34, let alone the public at large in the States. This makes them hard
to sell. Also, VW people have got used to easy restorations, and doing a 34
requires a fair bit more effort and expense.

I'd recommend that you do what I'd have liked to do before I bought mine --
join the Registry and learn about the car before you choose one. You'll find
a lot more info in the quarterly magazine and the members Website, and our
listserv provides quick access to the experts.

Andre=> I thought the figure was more like 42000. Yes? No?

Yes.
