If I have to I will order the 6000 (The price > quoted to me was about U$250, which is cheaper that the Porsche guy > wanted to rebuild the harnes for me) and sell them with just enough > markup to cover my expenses. I'm getting confused. I count 4 different basic part #s here, not counting -x variations. Whatever you come up with, if you actually manage to get with something useful, I'll buy some just to defray your expenses. OTOH, I've never needed ANY of these for repairs. I wonder why there is this interest in these connectors. Are people interested in making new harnesses? I can see some reason for this, but I have a few good used harnesses available for sale. I'm not willing to sell them for cheap, but unless you have industrial crimping tooling and place zero value on your time, they would be a better buy than trying to make your own. A good used FI harness would come with most of the original rubber boots, most of which are NLA, AND they come with the wire numbers stamped on both ends of the wires, too! ;-) - Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
