<x-charset iso-8859-1>For bleeding brakes I have about 12" of rubber hose which fits the nipple (5mm fuel hose I think), a bolt in the lower end to seal and a short slit cut lengthwise near the bottom to allow the fluid out under pressure. It acts like a valve, and bleeding is now a one-man job. If you want to see what's coming out you would need someone to pump, but I usually just check what's come out into the jar (a small drink bottle with string loop on the neck to hang it on the car). You can see if it's still bubbly or contaminated in the upper layers. No need to immerse the tube in the liquid. Dave.
