The markings on all 4 wheels are 4 1/2Jx15, the VW emblem, and a date code of 5/66. Nowhere is there and ofset marking on any of them. No, "46". The date code would co-inside with the production date of the car. 3162611744 vin. All 4 rims have the exact same markings, which tells me that they are orginal. BTW, I checked the spare too, which is a never run Continental 6.00x15 on a never used rim, BUT, the rim says Brazil, 4 1/2J x 15, so it is not orginal to the car. -- Russ Wolfe '71 Fastback AT '66 Fastback MT (IT RUNS) russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
