Thanks for the offer. Right now I am just trying to get it to move under its own power. Gas tank is back in the car, and the fuel flows to the engine. But, I have the same problem as John J. My ignition switch is bad. The engine won't crank with the key. Look's like I need to find a heavy duty 6V relay to put at the starter. Either that, or start with the 12V conversion. Engine sounds a little loose, and it is leaking oil. Looks like a rebuild is in hand. -- Russ Wolfe '71 Fastback AT '66 Fastback MT (IT RUNS) russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org </x-charset>
