Hear! I had all of my tin powdercoated. I also had the fan housing coated in silver. All of it turned out really well. That was about a year ago, and I have had no problems with cracking, chipping, dulling, dissolving, scratching, or anything. Yes, it is more expensive than painting, but definitely worth it in the long run, as I will never have to touch it again. "No runs, drips or errors."
