i am rebuilding the engine and want to paint my tin flat black. the thing is, i want the best paint possible, i don't want to have to redo this again. i'm going to use por-15 for the firewall, but i want something that will give a durable finish on the tin that will dissipate heat well (like we talked about over a year ago) yet still be a good solid black color. someone mentioned high temp paint, but does that resist oils and gas well? how about automotive exterior paint? how about just regular engine color that comes in a spray can? also, is it bad to paint the aluminum fan housing? i just want it to match and look good, but will it not take paint well, or does it reduce cooling efficiency? search function on the list doesn't seem to work, anyone have any hints? thanks, Dan Hoopes '67 Square, "Stanley" Provo, UT _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
