What happens and what doesn't happen? I just want to know whether the starter is lifeless or the engine is locked up. > 2. Will start with Ether (starting fluid). > > 3. Has a slight hesitation when first getting into the throttle. First time after starting, or every time you come off idle? > What I have done so far: You seem to have covered all the bases. You might want to take the transmission ground strap off and clean both ends, then remount it with grease. Check the chassis end of the battery ground strap. Put a voltmeter on the output side of the ignition switch so you can see if the voltage is getting past the switch. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
