This thread started out talking about Fuel Injection trigger points, not spark/ignition points, both of which happen to be contained in the F.I. dizzy. So those of you who have found specs for the points, those are for the ignition points. As long as the F.I. trigger points are installed correctly, clean and not worn out, they don't need to be gapped because the ECU decides when and for how long the injectors actually open and squirt the gas, based on all the info it gathers from the various sensors. The F.I. trigger points serve, basically, to keep the ECU sync'd with the engine speed. I hope that helps everybody, and in no way was meant to sound crass or demeaning, as the person over my shoulder seems to think, but I don't feel like re-writing it, and a friend just called to get help rescuing a B*g from a field. So I'm off!
