Actually that's something I've often wondered about.

While we know how many of each model were made, do we know how many were
sold in each country? I'd be very interested for instance to know how many
Type 34 Ghias were sold in Israel.

Kind of gives a whole new meaning to esoteric trivia, doesn't it?

Golf/Jetta) was the 2nd best selling VW ever.
