Well, last night I took your advice (Tom Phil and Jim - thanks!) and I drained the oil, removed the spark plugs, turned over the engine a few times to get some air in the cylinders, and replaced the spark plugs. Can you say #@&$%# and *#@$ @#(*$# &%^# !!!!! ? How in the heck do you guys manage to change the spark plugs without dropping the engine. It took my two hours!!! That's rediculous. Anyway, I had trouble getting the plug into #4, and I think I may have cross threaded it. Is there anyway to tell? She started right up, but there seems to be a slight miss. I took her for a ride and she ran okay, but still acting a little bit funny. Should I drop the engine to see if I cross-threaded the plug? What are the implications? I removed the plug once, noticed a few metal shavings, then cleaned the plug and the plug hole, and replaced the plug. The second time it went in a little easier, felt straight, but I'm not confident. Suggestion, please? Thanks.
