[T3] re t3 petrol tank sealing

        well its not leaking at the moment but I have the feeling that its
paper thin in places looking at the way the steel is puckered and dimpled on
the outside!

        at the moment I have an inline filter just after the outlet in the
bottom of the tank I will keep my eye on it and see if it fills with rust
again.

       this rust must all stem from the many years this tank laid empty at
Jane terrys farm in Kent it is an early filler under bonnet type so it wont
have been water ingress.

       I may take it out and paint the outside with an epoxy based paint to
afford a extra level of security against it leaking on me.

       I to Jim am very wary of putting anything other than fuel in my tank
at least if I do decide to por 15 it there is no trough to fill up in the
bottom a la injection .

       if I could find a second tank then id snap it up.
