<x-charset iso-8859-1>Some relevant items for sure, and Im running the foamy filters instead of the correct factory system. Heat soak from the heads just isnt enough for mine, and if i adjust the springs any looser they wont always close fully and give me the high idle I need. they just start closing so quickly. Keith > Heat soak from the heads is the factor that does most to keep them open with > engine off. After the restart, an important factor is the intake preheat > system. This consists of the metal intake mixing box at the right rear of > the engine compartment, which has a flap that can be set for winter/summer, > and a hose (stock was corrugated paper) from the front of the right front > (large) heat exchanger to the underside of the intake mixing box.
