I have a 72 Type 3 squareback. The frame was badly bent by a rear end collision. The rear end collision also bent the muffler a little, so some of the exhaust fumes get into the inside. I drive it with the window down. Other than that, it runs well, has a rebuilt engine, and I have been driving it in the summertime for years. It has been developing small problems over the years, like the headlamps staying on high beam, seat covers starting to deteriorate, etc., and it should probably be restored. Does the bent frame make it not worth restoring? Thanks, L.
