For that you need a D brain. The 71 PS was a Bosch # 0 280 100 007 or VW # 311 906 051C. If your system has been switched over to the 72-3 style it will have a throttle valve switch with 5 pins. This would be compatable with the E brain, assuming that ALL the changes were made. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
