What should I do to fix the problem: Your problems are probably all in the dash area, and they may even all have a common cause. I strongly recommend that you NOT consider "rewiring everything," or you will soon find yourself in the middle of a muddled up car that will never drive again. Rewiring is MUCH harder than troubleshooting and you are bound to create more problems than you solve. There is just 1 flasher relay and it serves both the turn signals and the 4 way flashers. Get the Bentley manual and start checking out your wiring in the area where you are having trouble. Just concentrate on understanding one thing at a time and work slowly. Look for loose or misplaced connections and bad grounds. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
