Sorry for not posting sooner and thanks for all the help. I didn't give enough detail when I posted early about the car stopping while I was driving. It's a '71 single port, fuel injected, squareback. I've come to the conclusion that the problem is indeed electrical. Meaning that I might have to start re-wiring everything. A few new things have happened that suggest that there is some bad wiring. First horn doesn't work now, but will occasionally honk when I start car. I couldn't find a break in the wire. Secondly the turn signals don't work now, they just don't blink. First I thought the problem with the blinkers was just the relay. But I accidently knocked the hazard signals knob while I was trying to figure out what was wrong and tada the turn signals now work. If i followed everything right then who ever wired the car before me wired the turn signals and hazard signals through the same relay. They are suppose to be on different relays right? My gas guage doesn't work now either, just flickers to the amount of gas I have every so often. Am I right to say that all of the problems exist in the wiring? What should I do to fix the problem: follow all the wires and check them, re-wire the whole thing, could it just be a faulty ground, or maybe there's something easier I don't know about.
