Well, I finally got back to working on the car. I found the the screen in the tank was clean, but the filter was almost completely plugged. It has only been on the car for a couple thousand miles. But I had a very dirty gas tank when I got the car. I did some checking, and the tank screen is considered 60 micron, and the filter I am using is 30 micron. Since it seems that I am going to have to change the filter pretty regularly, I made a modification. I extended the line from the tank, to in front of the axle beam, so that I can get to the filter by just pulling the spare tire well out. I won't have to crawl under the car to change it. Luckily I did pull the wheel off this time, I had one brake pad about gone, so I installed new ones all the way around. I also geased the front end again. It has only been about a thousand miles, but while I was there, I did it. Also added grease zerts to the ball joints and did them. Edelmann fittings has the correct ones for the ball joints. Screw right in. While I was at the Edelmann rack, I checked their catalog. Jim will be glad to know, they do list the brake line fittings he needs. Also, Dormann products lists them.
