And, of course, they produced that wonderful version of the Type 1-based
"Wasserboxer" motor with six cylinders which was fitted to many of the third
generation (T3) Transporters or Vanagons including one for the king of
Spain. I wonder if anyone has tried fitting one of these Oettinger WB6
engines into a Type 3?
