RE: [T3] heat for a type3


Correct.  Fresh air is pulled in via the fan and pushed into the heat
exchanger.  The nice (and smart!) thing with the 914 exchanger (I'm not
familiar w/the Bus) is that the air ran down the exhaust pipe, came to the
end at the butt of the car, turned around 180-degrees and traveled back
towards the cabin on the OTHER side of the exhaust.  Instead of flowing just
once over the exchanger like ours it traveled the length of the exhaust pipe
twice, so the air got REAL warm!  I know and I loved it!  Heater
over-kill...this is what our cars need!!
