That's my first choice of metal - nice malleable steel with an excellent
surface anti-rust treatment.  Depending on the amount of shaping you need,
you may save some of that treatment.  I suspect it may be heavier than some
parts of the body, but I will bow to Russ on that one, and anyway rust-prone
areas need at least the same thickness as before.
