 In case anyone's taking this literally, a Brillo pad is *not* a good idea as
 a breather filter, it's too fine and the soap in it will make a mess. A
 plastic or preferably metal loop pot scrubber is what we're really talking
 about.
 The texture is not unlike the stuff in the oil bath air cleaner, but
 smaller.

Speaking of Brillo Pads, these things are commonly used to brighten chrome. 
But there usta be a product call "23 Skidoo" that really brightened chrome, 
whereas the brillo pads just scratched the chrome. Has anyone heard of "23 
Skidoo" or whomever made it? The white cream was just the stuff. I could use 
some on my cars for chrome
brightening. TIA.
