[T3] Question about year of car

I went and picked up the fastback that I described previously. But the
starter broke when I got ti home.Well my question is about the year.Haven't
got the vin number yet because the dash had been replacce with new pad w/o
vin number. I also haven't crawled under to look at the one in the back.
Isn't therr another one somewhere else? I was guesssing the year was '66
because there is no gas flap, but it is a 12 volt factory.Anyway I will tell
more info as I find it.
