Found a type3 ghia this weekend. Have not got it home yet. Price was right and the car is in pretty good shape. The guy had a 1835 in it and said ran great for years. I am under the impression that 1835 and type3 cooling systems are not very friendly. Motor is out of car now so I want to try and get the correct engine. Car is '66 so it should have the 1600 dual port/dual solex 32pdict with the higher compression pistons, correct? Is there a good resource on the internet for the type34? These are pretty rare, right? Want to keep this one on the lightside (its hard for me to think this way...I'm gonna need some help). Not in any hurry on this one. What a cool car!
