While getting to know my new girl yesterday, I noticed that the brake peddle is solid as a rock with maybe an 1/8"of stroke. I know this is not right and I intend to go through the brake system and to upgrade to DOT5 Silicon fluid. My question is.....can I use the newly rebuilt calipers and master cylinder (Thanks again Jim) from my '71 Fasty on the '66 Square? I realize that the '66 is a single circuit MC and a single cavity reservoir, but I would be willing to "T" the line for now and maybe add a dual cavity reservoir in the future. Are the calipers compatible? I told myself that I would try not to do too much cannibalizing of the Fasty, but I am years away from needing brakes on her and I can send the Square's calipers and MC out to Jim for a leisurely rebuild in the meantime. Boy, does that sound like I am rationalizing the cannibalization. 8^) Later, John Jaranson '71 FI Auto Fasty (Jane) '66 Square (???) http://hometown.aol.com/jaransonT3 ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
