My dad had a Ford that the dealer couldn't get A/C put on in time for vacation. They installed a thing that looked like a early mustang ac unit BUT you filled up the base of it with ice and it had a fan that circulated the cool air from the ice. I would guess it blew over the ice but it could of had a heat exchanger of some sorts. I am not sure as I was 5 or 6 years old then... Any one seen something like it.. just wondering. It gets hot here on the bottom coast.(Texas) Richard 69 fasty 0tt0 Russ Wolfe wrote: > Subject: Re: [T3] swamp cooler > > > Jesse=> has anyone used those swamp coolers that > > => motorworks sells? do they work? > > > > I can't speak for that specific product, but the old-school swamp coolers > > (aka Thermadors) are very popular among the old-car crowd here in AZ.
