A 3000 Ohm resistor should not be hard to find, but I don't understand how this could be burned out. With 14 V the max available in the FI system, the most power that a 3000 Ohm resistor could draw would be .07 Watts, which would not be enough to hurt even the smallest resistors made. There is also the likelyhood that there is something else also wrong in there. Is it a D brain? Fixing your FI is bound to be cheaper and easier than installing carbs, but most people won't believe that. Both entail a learning curve. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
