[T3] swamp cooler & ignition coil?

i have noticed that the subject of air conditioning has come up as of
late on the email ring and it has brought a question to mind.
has anyone used those swamp coolers that motorworks sells? do they work?
if so, i would think that would be an alternative to "real" air
conditioning. any experience out there with these things? also on a
different note. i replaced my stock ignition coil because of carbon
tracks with a bosch blue coil. 12 volt. i noticed that it gets really
hot when i run the car for a while. is this normal? i never have taken
notice to it on my watercooled cars. any thoughts? thanks everyone!
