The idle adjustment screws are located under the chokes and are best
adjusted with a short flat blade screwdriver. Not to be confused with
the volume control screws, which are on the side of each carb and have
large black plastic or knurled brass heads. There are a lot of things
that can cause a high idle, including misadjusted throttle linkage
(especially if the main right or left link is too long), misadjusted
choke linkage, bad throttle cable adjustment, binding at the pedal,
sitcky linkage connections, etc.
