> Anyone have similar smells and any suggestions on >suppressing and/or preferably eliminating the cause of the >fumes. I found that the 1" paper heat tubes kept coming loose on mine -- lot's of fumes would come in there. So, I finally got hose clamps and that fixed it for good. Another thing to look at is the intake cooling boot -- that can suck in fumey air that blow in through the heater vents. FYI, your heater is always on, just directed inside the car or outside the car. And when it's off (directed outside), some heated air still gets in, thus fumes. Gas smell -- when was the last time you changed your fuel hoses? Mine reeked until I did that. And I *needed* to have it done. No squareback flambe for me, thanks.
