Re: [T3] Any Parts too Look out for?

You asked about desireable older car parts to get from
that old quaint shop in Penn.

Parts on the older cars before 1970 have differences:
Bumpers, side marker lights, lots of dash parts like
the switches, especially that emergency switch that was
discussed, old radios and it's mounting plates, Hurshman
antennas, old brake hardware, European headlights, original
small stainless steel mirrors (very hot item), original
mufflers, good glove boxes (not common), all of the old
EFI stuff, original luggage racks, all front suspension
parts even the rubber, rear suspension parts, new or good
floor parts, some original seat belts, rear rubber mat
(this is twilight zone rare and desireable), bumbers and
their bumper guards, bumper overriders (super desirable and
expensive), maybe the backup lights, good original dashes
with the small speaker holes, sunroof parts, good fenders
and hood, autotranny mounts (hard to get good ones),
autotranny flexplates (hard to get), all gas filler tube
rubber......ETC..... this is lots of stuff but this
is my opinion on stuff that was difficult to get for me
and some people.

Other stuff that is always lost for all years are the
tiney cooling tin parts, the rubber air filter
inlet duct, torsion bars for squareback (desireable
because it is thicker than Notches and Fastys.....

I hope this answers your question. Lots of stuff could
be sold here, on other vw sites and e-bay.
