Grind the point off the extra screw, and use it while finding the place where the transmission shifts properly. Once this is found, remove the screw carefully without moving the coupling. Use a magic marker through the set screw hole, and mark the shaft. Now, remove the coupling, and drill the indent that is needs in the shift rod. Use a good quality HSS drill bit that is just big enough to clear the threads in the coupling. Reinstall the coupling, install the set screw, and safety wire.
