There is also a screen in the bottom of the tank. I think it is about 60
microns. The best thing, is to get the tank cleaned.

The one filter at the gas tank is all you really need. Any others are
redundant. Most fuel filters are made with 30 micron (30 millionths of an
inch) filter paper. If the one at the tank does not stop it, the ones you
have on the engine are not going to either. If the one at the tank plugs,
the car is going to stop anyway.
