I guess it's just you. The air filter was sand-blasted and powder coated. There was a little fiber in the top of the air filter, but not much. That part was left alone, as it was internal and not visible to the eye. One pours oil into the oil bath and then installs the air cleaner. The air cleaner has one hole for each of two carburetors. It looks super now that it's back on the Type 34.
