HI Don- I'd be curious to know what they are charging for the air cleaner as I'm pondering doing the same thing with my cleaner and sheet metal next time I have the engine out. Cheers, Dave Y. 68 Square $75 plus the cost of sandblasting, or about $100 for all three parts (the spark plug tube, the hand crank, and the air cleaner. I'm taking two more parts in to get them powder coated tomorrow - the engine cover and the gizmo that goes across the engine (I don't know what you call it - a shroud?) off the Type 34.
