Keith, This is actually the case at quite a few land frontiers around the world, such as when you go from Iran to Pakistan, Zambia to Congo, Sudan to Egypt, Thailand to Laos, Thailand to Cambodia and even in Europe when you drive from Spain to Gibraltar just to name a few. And, it happens within China when you travel from Hong Kong to Guangzou Province. I was living in Nigeria in April 1972 when they changed from driving on the left to driving on the right. The changeover was extremely smooth with no serious problems. And the dense traffic in the streets of Lagos and motorways in and out of the city combined with the aggressive local driving style make it probably most hazardous place in the world to drive anytime.
