Okay, thanks. Maybe I've just been a little slow on this, but I had 
not thought of pulling out on the knob.

This sounds fine for the simplex MC. I'm guessing that's where 
these instructions originated.

I agree with this, but it's important to note that they don't give you 
any way of checking that this is okay. I believe the 225mm (if that 
is the correct distance) is the check.

I can certainly see how you would come to this conclusion from 
these instructions, but I don't think these instructions are complete.
