If you used a new MC, you probably got the '71+ kind. The line connections are different, and on my cars I had to change the LF steel line with a '71+ line. I have the pattern for the connections with the later MC written down somewhere. It seems like a couple of years ago we decided here that there is a typo in the Bentley on the pushrod clearance. Again, I'll have to check my notes. You really need to do your adjustments with the bolt on the floor.
