I find that I can usually get those out, but it requires taking the 
cylinder out of the car and taking it apart, plus a torch, several 
sizes of drill bits and an Ezy-out. Plus some "tricks."

Your old MC will probably have ridges of corrosion buildup in the 
bore that will destroy the rubber within a couple of strokes unless 
you take it apart and hone it first. This is easy to do and will save 
you some grief. Otherwise the MC will leak fluid under the same 
carpet!
