You're probably just looking at a type 3 pulley. It has a bit of a fan 
function, but most of the work is done by a larger steel fan that is 
larger and farther inside.

I don't think I've ever heard what alloy the pulley might be cast from.

The CFM for the fan is in "Without Guesswork." I can check it 
tonight. This is bound to take significant HP.
