If deposits are heavy replace with new ones. While the plugs are out, squirt a small amount of oil into the plug hole then rotate the crank by hand (make sure car is out of gear). This will help to insure the cylinder walls get lubricated. If there is gas in the tank it may have varnished & you'll want to drain that & add fresh fuel. Also the screen filter inside the tank may be clogged & the fuel line too. An easy "by-pass" to this is to get a gas can like you use to fill a lawn mower. Insert a fuel hose into the can & attach the other end to the suction side of the fuel pump. DON'T SMOKE while doing this!!! Make sure the hose stays clear of any moving parts (ie belt). This should get you started. If it does start you'll want to do a complete tune up. Adj valves, points, timing...the whole nine yards. The carbs may be sticky & dirty too. If you can get it running spray the carbs inside & out with carb cleaner. I'm sure others will add their comments, but this should get you "started" in the right direction.
