[T3]Porsche wheel pattern

Corivus de Lan,
In order to change over to the 5bolt Porsche wheel pattern, the
rotors/drums will have to be machined. I did this on my own. I kept
one hole from the 4-bolt VW pattern and used an index head on a mill
to create a new hole every 72 degrees. Some things to think about:
What size wheel studs to use. I used adapter studs that were M12(M14?)
on the brake side and 1/2" on the wheel side-CB Performance.
Do you want to locate the wheel with the studs or with the hub? I
turned down the hub of the rotors (I have 4 wheel disc brakes) to get
a trued surface, then made bushings that would press fit (slight) over
the rotor hub and slight loose fit the hub of the wheel.
Any machine shop should be able to do these mods.
Also check the offset of the "cookie cutters"; if they are around
37-40mm then they will be "bolt on for your car". If not then you may
have to make spacers or machine down the wheel or the rotors.
Hope this helps.
