i have run in to many problems towing my type3!! the brakes need a full 
overhaul, so i cant tow rope it.  i have talked to towtruck drivers and they 
say my sqbk is too low for them to tow. i have a towbar but that wont do any 
good if my sqbk is lower than what is to tow it, right?  i bought my square 
lowered a few years ago and it has been that way ever since.  i want to keep 
it low(i think they look way rad low!).  but i think i am going to need to 
raise it to tow it.  so.... what all is involved with lowering and raising a 
type3? i have heard it is very simple but i have never accually bothered to 
look in to it. 
    i have many different manuals but they are with my car in seattle and i 
am 30 miles south.  i really need to get my baby home....
