I've just popped the back off the clock, drenched it in Plusgas and then solvent. Luckily the fly-back had stopped with the points open, so the fusible link was intact. After a bit of prodding, the clock is now ticking away happily on my kitchen table so I can check if it keeps time. The only problem seems to be that the flyback doesn't use its full travel, so it "clunks" about every 5 mins instead of 10 mins. This is probably caused by the lube being dry, so I'll try that next. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
