Do you have a copy of the BENTLEY manual on the way? That's the one you want! It is possible to remove 2 nuts on each side and pull the injectors out while still attached to the fuel and electrical lines. You can then watch the spray pattern if you crank the starter, or just push the throttle (70-73.) Disconnect the coil wire to avoid a spark while you're doing this! So far, this does not sound like an injector problem to me.
