Hey all, Does anyone have the plugs and a little lead of the wire that plugs in the fuel injectors that they would sell? The PO of my car for some reason cut the wiring on the drivers side for the fuel injectors and used radio wire type clamp connectors to patch them up. I tried soldering the wires back together but the wires are so brittle that when i was bending them around the insulation on the wires kept cracking. I did my best and soldered them back together but i keep having problems with the number four cylinder not firing. The plug for the number three cylinder seems ok. I pulled the plug on the number 3 cylinder and hooked it up to the number four and it increased the idle so i know that it's the wiring because all other cylinders except number four is doing there thing. I also checked the wiring with an ohm meter and the number three cylinder was like 15 ohms and the number four was not a complete circuit. Also if someone does have the wire ends it would be great if they have the little dust boots also for mine are split. Finally, how can i tighten up the injector plugs on the other side? I cant seem to get the little push on plugs out of the plastic holder so i can squeeze them a little so they are a little more snug on the injector. Any tips out there? thanks all, jesse 71 squareback running on three cylinders ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
