Well about a month ago a guy at the local flaps had a leed for me on an old square in a field. I soon followed up and found it to be a 65! This is one of those Southern Cali finds where all the rubber is toast but the car is rock solid with some surface rust. I wasnt impressed at first as you will see from the pics. But when I opened the engine lid I found a compleet motor! Everything from the back pressure fuel dohicky(65 only) to the aircleaner wing nut. The underside was just as compleet with correct muffler to fresh air hook ups. On the inside I found the upper plastic strips for the rear cargo area, compleet good shape rear panels and two thirds of the fronts original panels! The car also has the one piece metal hinge guard with light for the back hatch. Even though I found all this cool stuff on the car and in decent shape It is by no means a driver. Its unknown ailment parked it 15-20 years prior. The guess is electrical. The pan is totaly shot under the back seat. The rear end is 4lug and the rear hatch is from a later modle. Oh and the front hood was rotten and the front end has been hit-repaired with a 68-69 front pannel and hit again causing the front right to be out of line. The plan is to swap pans as I have a solid 71 square donner pan for it. Paint it primmer for awile and get her running. I will keep the stock theme as much as possible. I would like to get the interior up to 65 standards. I have spares of all that is missing so it should be nice. Al in all not a bad score for $300 I thought! late jason http://images.andale.com/f2/115/106/2789089/995601926509_Front_65.jpg http://images.andale.com/f2/115/106/2789089/995601925954_ftrunk_65.jpg http://images.andale.com/f2/115/106/2789089/995601927889_65_case_.jpg http://images.andale.com/f2/115/106/2789089/995601925256_1500_eng_bits.jpg http://images.andale.com/f2/115/106/2789089/995601927111_the_yard.jpg ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
