Be sure to put the pieces of tin below the fan shroud, before putting the
fan shroud on. Be sure the fan shroud is centered up with the crank. don't
forget the baffle under the crankcase breather. Do Not use gaskets there,
only the baffle. It is its own gasket. Install the thermostat linkage, and
adjust it properly. Anti-sieze on the spark plugs. Be sure the distributor
drive is installed properly. Put a small amount of grease on the distributor
drive thrust washers and slide them down a long screw driver into place.
Then put the gear in. Yours is a '67 so you don't need to worry about the
rear cross member.
Be sure you dont bend the clutch disk putting the engine back in.

Break-In: Good 30 weight detergent oil for break-in. Adjust the valves
before installing the engine. Don't over rev the engine, Don't lug the
engine. Don't over heat the engine. Change oil, clean the oils strainer,
and re-adjust the valves at about 300-500 miles. Do this again at about 1000
miles.

Good Luck with the new engine.
